Read the book that was dubbed a national security threat.
All Terri Woods wanted was a nice, simple life. A safe place to raise her sons.
Then one day, she woke up to an unbelievable nightmare of small town corruption. judicial insanity, and a plot to ruin her that defied all rational thought.
Now, Terri must summon every bit of faith and strength she can to stay alive, and maintain her sanity as she battles against the “Good Old Boys” of Tennessee who give the South a bad name, and leave a fetid taste in the mouth of anyone who believes that justice shouldn’t be a traded commodity, but rather the right of all American citizens.
But it isn’t just Terri’s life at stake. They’re also coming for her children, and the deeper she falls into her nightmare and the abyss of corruption, the more desperate her enemies are to make sure that she never lets anyone know just how corrupt one small Southern town can actually be.

Hear For Yourself the Problems With Judicial Corruption
The number of people each year who commit suicide and who are driven to bankruptcy and whose lives are torn apart by an out-of-control judge, drunk on his or her own power is appalling and heartbreaking. Thousands of lives are needlessly ruined. Worse? The state of Tennessee's Judiciary Board of Review openly admitted that it has refused to discipline any judge based on ANY complaint filed by any citizen, no matter how abhorrent the judge's actions are. This leaves our American citizens at the mercy of an out-of-control tyrannical branch of monsters who have no oversight.
That is what is truly terrifying. It is a systemic problem in this country and as the daughter of a decorated war veteran, it breaks my heart. So, I’ve done what I like to think I do best: to bring awareness to a very real struggle, I’ve written a fictionalized account of what VERY real people experience every single day in America’s courts against the dictators who rule like gods in our midst and who have no oversight. As the Supreme Court said, “No man is above the law.” That also includes judges.
This is just some of the bias and abuse Sherri took at the hands of the judge who refused to allow her attorney to speak on her behalf or to present any evidence for her defense. Like too many others, her rights were blatantly violated and disregarded and all her money was seized and kept from her so that the judge could form what he, himself, called a "legal fund" to pay his former business associates in his old law firm even after an article published in The Tennessean alleged that there was some major chicanery going on between Judge Michael Binkley and attorneys for being a little "too close."
Her children's property and money that the judge and the federal government had no authority over whatsoever was illegally seized. Their money was stolen from them and their property illegally held for more than a year while Sherri was charged hundreds of thousands of dollars and bankrupted over it. She was told that if she didn't write for free and without any compensation to keep paying those who were abusing her and her family, she would be put in jail.
She and her sons and pregnant daughter-in-law were thrown from their home so that the judge could set up a "legal fund" to pay his former business associates while withholding money from Sherrilyn for her to pay her own lawyer. Nor was she allowed any of her own money to pay for any help with her move. She was denied money for critical medical needs. The offenses go on and on. All of this is on record and well documented. They are that blatant and dismissive of the rights of others.
And she's not alone.
The above is from a hearing where Binkley was showing what an outright biased moron he was by refusing to listen to Sherri's attorney when he demanded that Sherri call all her publishers all over the world, in languages that she doesn't speak, to get information that they had proven her husband already had in his possession through emails her attorney had shown the judge that had been sent to her husband through her husband's own email account. Rather than chastise her husband and his attorneys for harassing Sherri for asking for information they had and/or information that was irrelevant, and wasting the court's time and Sherri's money, he screamed at her and threatened to put her in jail if she didn't call "all her publishers' the world over and get "every single" publication and copyright date for every single novel, interview, article, piece of art, cover art, etc, for everything she'd ever done during her thirty-five year writing career (this included publishers, websites, and magazines that are no longer in business).
After the judge had run up more than six figures of legal fees in one month, alone, and Sherri had been threatened to be put back in jail, again for no legal reason and for nothing she did, and harassed to the edge of a nervous breakdown, and after doing an illegal search and seizure of her home (and driving her into bankruptcy), her husband's attorneys had then confessed that they didn't need any of the information they'd been requesting and hauling her into court over for months anyway. All of it had been no for no other purpose than to harass and torment Sherri while driving up unnecessary legal fees.
